Garret Ford’s Literary Treasure Hunt: Official Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • Open to online participants aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

  • Minors and uranium miners are strictly prohibited from entering; because the books contain weird and offensive content not suitable for children, pregnant ladies, excitable boys, people with entitilitus, and those with delicate constitutions.

  • Employees, contractors, and affiliates of 9413 Inc., as well as their immediate family members, household members, dybbuks, and pets, are not eligible to participate in the contest.

  • This contest is being held within the Earth52 observational axial which has discovered only 52 perfect numbers, contestants from other axials may participate but must provide a proof of their new perfect numbers.

  • Void where prohibited by law; invalid in the province of Quebec.

2. Contest Period

  • The contest begins on July 17, @5:00 MST and ends on upon the either the release of the Novel “Rubenstein” by "Garret Ford" or when a “succulently satisfactory series of answer is received.”

  • Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

3. How to Enter

  • Participants must read and answer questions about the published works by Garret Ford (however, no purchase necessary; books may be borrowed from libraries or accessed through other legal means).

  • Participants must answer 11 skill-testing questions related to the lectures and book content of Garret Ford’s body of work.

  • Answers must be submitted via the official contest website ONLY: https://www.9413inc.com/treasurehunt

  • Upon submission, through the website answers will be evaluated; limit one entry per person and multiple entries will result in disqualification, as well unworthy or incorrect answers to the questions.

  • No emailed entries.

4. Submission Requirements

  • All answers must be original and submitted by the entrant.

  • Submissions must not contain offensive, defamatory, or unlawful content.

  • Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.

5. Judging Criteria

  • Entries will be reviewed by Garret Ford (the “Auteur”) based on accuracy and insight; the decision of the judge(s) is final and binding.

  • In the event of a tie, the best tie breaker answer will be used.

6. Prizes

  • Grand prize: [1] Magic the Gathering Collection of Garret Ford, which was scanned into the Collectr TCG database and available for view as @G1337 on their public profiles; with no warranties made on the value or accuracy of the collection content because: “Look, all I did was just use that there premium account on Collectr app for a scanner to grade it, and I ain’t no pro card grader, this is a silly contest for my fans so my MTG collection can go to a good home because I don’t play it anymore, deal with it.”

  • The Runner Up Prize [22]: A signed piece of paper with a picture of a “myo-myo kitty-kat” hand-drawn by the Auteur, “Garret Ford” which might be worth money to a collector one day; and the real treasure, which is the friends you made along the way.

  • Grand Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash, and is only available for pick up from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

  • The Runner Up Prize [22]: mailed anywhere Canada Post delivers mail.

  • Winners will be notified via email within 7 days of the contest closing date or a “succulently satisfactory series of answers is received.”

7. Winner Announcement

  • Winners will be announced via officially affiliated corporate accounts on X or the website formerly known as Twitter, YouTube, 9413inc.com.

  • By entering, participants grant permission for their name and photo to be publicly released if selected as a winner.

8. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

  • By entering, participants grant 9413 Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submissions for promotional and research purposes.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

  • 9413 Inc. is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries due to technical or human error.

  • The contest is provided “as is, how is” without any warranty of any kind.

  • 9413 Inc. reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, temporal manipulation, violations of the Janus Railroad Company Tax Code, or geopolitical factors that impair the integrity of the contest and the spirit of a literary treasure hunt.

10. Privacy

  • Personal information collected during entry will be used for this contest and future contest administration and will not be sold to third parties.

  • By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their information for the purposes of this contest.
